The college has always focused on providing students an all round education and helping them to be aware of social needs and to be socially responsible too. In this endeavour the students have been part of many community related activities.

- Participated in a procession for Mumbai Unplug, a programme to create awareness for judicious use of electricity.
- Student volunteers in area based projects at Salvation Army, King's Circle and Sulabha School for Mentally Retarded, Tilak Nagar.
- Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with LTMG Hospital Sion and Rotary Club of Mumbai uptwon.
- Free Thalassaemia Sp. test by the Think Foundation for all students of T.Y. classes. Participated in Traffic Control Week, Polio Drive, Ban Smoking.
- Worked at campsites with in mates of ashrams Sri Ramchandra Mission, Panvel and Sri Ramakrishna Mission, Panvel.
- Participated in rallies organized by University of Mumbai and NGOs
- Organised workshop on Personality Development for girls of not only our college but other colleges in the neighborhood too.
- Along with Young Buzz organised many lectures on 'Study Skills' for SIES School students and 'Parenting' for their parents and conducted Psychological Tests for over 500 SIES School students.
- Participated in the SIES programme felicitating the families of victims of 26/11 and other citizens who displayed exemplary courage on 26/11
- Worked as volunteers and participated in programmes for Cancer patients.
- Teach India programme volunteers.
- Sale of flags and rakhis made by underprivileged children.

- PEACE RALLY : Students participated in the Hiroshima day peace rally on 6th August, 2008

- ORIENTATION LECTURE : An orientation lecture was given by Mr. Santosh Pathare regarding the importance of NSS and its activities. Students were greatly inspired and motivated by his speech

- FLAG SELLING : NSS volunteers sold flags & rakhis on account of national integration week

- FLAG HOISTING : Flag hoisting was held in the college on Independence day

- THALLASEMIA TEST : Thallasemia Test was done by Think Foundation for all T.Y.B.Com students.

- AREA BASED PROJECT : Our volunteers undertook area based project in Sulabha School of M.R. Children I which is a special school for mentally retarded children and helping the special children in activities such as sports, games, creativity and other academic help in studies, etc. Area based project was completed by January 2009

- RESIDENTIAL CAMP : NSS Volunteers attended a Seven day residential camp at the Ramakrishna Mission Rural Health & Development Program at Sakwar Village in January

- BLOOD DONATION DRIVE : A blood donation drive was organized by the NSS on 23rd January, 2009 in collaboration with the LTMG Hospital Sion and the programme was sponsored by the Rotary Club (Uptown Mumbai)., Thalasemia minor detection test was also done for third year degree students of unaided courses by Think Foundation.

- SKITS & STREET PLAYS : Skits & Street plays were performed by students on social issues like Aids awareness in the month of January 2009 as part of MDACS

- WORKSHOPS : Workshops on Disaster Management was organized by the NSS Unit. Consumer Rights & Guidance to be held on 18th February 2009

- NSS Volunteers helped the college administration during F.Y.J.C. admission, college functions, Annual Sports Day and took part in other university rallies and functions
