The SIES Junior College is one of the reputed Colleges in Mumbai known for high academic success, discipline and efficient management. For the past many years the College has had over 98% success rate at HSC Examinations. During 1999-2000 and 2001-2002 we had 100% result at the HSC Examination, and have subject toppers in the Board year after year. In 2004-05 pass percentage was 99.58 %. |

Rules Concerning Attendance: |
| For granting the terms in each subject, a minimum attendance of 75% of the theory lectures, practicals and tutorials (wherever prescribed) separately will be required out of the total number of lectures, practicals and tutorials in the subject conducted in the terms. If the student fails to follow the rules, the college reserves its right to deny admission to the higher class and withhold the HSC form. |
| Examinations: |
| 1. |
FYJC: Four examinations are conducted consisting of 2 unit tests carrying 50 marks each & 2 semester exams of 100 marks each. |
| 2. |
SYJC: Two examinations are conducted, one half yearly & the other Prelims. After the completion of portion. (100 marks each). |
| 3. |
Test Series in SYJC is conducted for students who score less mark in FYJC. Test series consists of four exams - Two exams of 50 marks, two hours each held in August and September. Two exams of 100 marks, 3 hours each held in November and January. |
| 4. |
Promotion to the SYJC class will be on the basis of the performance at all the examinations, held during the academic year, as per the rules prescribed by the Mumbai Board. |
| 5. |
The details regarding the examinations will be displayed on the notice board from time to time. |
| 6. |
A student found to have used unfair means at the examination will be dealt with as per the rules specified by the Department of Education. |
