The Students’Council is formed as per the Maharashtra Universities Act, 1994 and Maharashtra Universities (Amendment and Continuance) Act, 2000. The council consists of the following members:

Message from the General Secretary
Being the G.S. of the college is a matter of pride & honour as I get to ‘lead’ & ‘represent’ my college. This is my last year in the college and to me S.I.E.S. has imparted the values of Sincerity, Intelligence, Enthusiasm and Simplicity. I thank my Principal, teachers and fellow students for having faith in me.

I aim to get students involved in a lot of college activities, and ensure their participation in inter-collegiate events. I am a person, who actively interacts with all possible people and I would like to see more fellow feeling in the college.
I plan to bring together all the different faculties by organizing various events and programmes thereby bringing about unity and partnership. And of course, our very own FANTASIES, the inter-collegiate festival that is conducted every year. This year, with the help of my other colleagues I am planning to set a higher standard by combining fun-filled events with a social cause.

I want to set an example of being a ‘good leader’ to all my junior friends which surely will motivate them. So you can expect some ‘OUT OF THE BOX’ thinking this year.

And last but not the least, I, on my part, believe in being responsible, in guiding others to study and make ‘academics’ their first priority. I do PRACTISE the same.

To conclude, I believe, college life is to be enjoyed, but responsibly.
