| Message from the General Secretary |
SIES College of Commerce & Economics triggers a torrent of emotions but not all of them outright joyous. Spending half-a-decade in an institution does lead to some memorable moments.
Right from the days of FYJC, in our quest to understand the "College Life" that we once fantasized as school kids, to being on top at this coveted post of G.S., it has been one great experience.
Saying that the experience at SIES was wonderful would be an understatement. It was nothing short of monumental of all the activities the crowning glory would be the experience in organising Fantasies, the college fest.
Starting of as a volunteer with hundreds of others when all we did was staring around like a new born child to ending up as the H.O.D. for Events, it has been one awesome ride.
At SIES, even though it is education that gets prime importance over all other activities, the unlimited exposure to the world outside and the support of the faculty have helped us accept our short comings and of others, to calm shooting tempers, to understand the workings of an organisation like all other students, however ordinary it sounds, and above all to work in unison. I'm extremely proud to be an SIESite!!!
ROSHNI NAIR
